Equitable Compensation for Orang Asli Upon Eviction: The Malaysian experience

The Malaysian land law provides that the title shall be indefeasible upon registration and security of tenure is guaranteed. However, for Orang Asli, Aboriginal Peoples Act 1954 (Act 134) only declares a communal right to native them live revoke declaration vested in government. It now left court's decision case decide fate Aslis' rights land. This article aims examine involuntary resettlement compensation accorded by using doctrinal approach.
